Toyota brings the Crown Signia GT-S Concept to SEMA 2026 with a ride almost five inches lower
Toyota Motorsports Garage built the wagon-like crossover with widebody fenders and new brakes, but Toyota mentioned no powertrain upgrades.

What Toyota is bringing to SEMA
Toyota says its Crown Signia GT-S Concept rolls almost five inches lower than stock, and the company is bringing it to SEMA 2026. [1] If you follow Toyota's show builds, this is the one to look for at the show. [1]
Toyota calls the build the Crown Signia GT-S Concept. [1] Toyota Motorsports Garage conceived and assembled it. [2]
The Crown Signia has always had a station wagon look, even though its ride height places it in crossover territory. [1] Dropping the body by almost five inches changes that stance. [1]
Body, paint and interior
Toyota Motorsports Garage added widebody fenders, reshaped headlight surrounds and a revised rear end. [1] The concept also has a front air dam, aggressive rear aero and cosmetic enhancements on the flanks. [2]
Toyota custom-mixed a dark gray metallic paint with added flake, and red accents run through the concept. [1] The exhaust was reworked with trapezoidal tips integrated into the rear aero package. [1]
Inside, the interior was reworked with performance-inspired upholstery touches. [1] It gains seats with heavy bolsters and red piping and headrests with embroidered GT-S lettering. [2]
Suspension, brakes and tires
The concept rides on custom one-off Motion Control Suspension coilovers. [1] Its brakes use front and rear calipers pulled from a Lexus RX 500h F Sport, which improve stopping power. [1] The build team had to specially adapt that setup to make it fit. [1]
The wheels are 21-inch HRE units. [1] They carry 295mm Toyo tires, which measure 11.6 inches. [2] According to Toyota, the tire setup brings an extra 20 percent of contact compared to the factory set. [1]
The powertrain stays the same
The concept keeps the production version's 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, with a combined 240 horsepower output. [1] Toyota did not mention any powertrain upgrades. [1]
The only powertrain-related change mentioned is custom dual exhaust pipes integrated into the rear bodywork. [2]
Last year's Camry and what it means for you
Toyota brought a Camry of the same sporty persuasion to last year's show. [1]
If you want to see the Crown Signia GT-S Concept, SEMA 2026 is where Toyota is bringing it. [1] If you hoped to buy one, check the news: Toyota has not announced plans to bring the concept to market. [1]
