Five models, one Woodland look

Toyota has introduced five lifted, adventure-ready Woodland concepts, based on the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sienna, Crown Signia and bZ electric SUV. [1] If you shop for a crossover, minivan or electric SUV, the Woodland treatment now reaches all of those body types. [2]

The concepts will be on display at the 2026 SEMA Show, starting November 3. [1] Toyota is the latest automaker to pursue the highly profitable US off-road market, with plans to expand its Woodland lineup. [1]

What every concept gets

Toyota's North American design studio, CALTY Design Research, designed the concepts. [1] All of them include an exclusive Woodland badge, a lift kit, large over-fenders, satin-black wheels, All-Terrain tires, two-tone paint on the roof and hood, a roof rack and cross bars. [1]

The lift kits are custom suspension kits that increase ground clearance. [2] The extended over-fenders make room for wider track widths and trail debris. [2] The satin-black wheels are ruggedized and wrapped in all-terrain rubber. [2]

The roof racks are functional, with heavy-duty crossbars to mount outdoor gear, tents and cargo boxes. [2] The five concepts share one visual and equipment package tailored for dirt-road exploration, and they keep everyday passenger car ergonomics. [2]

A color from the 1960s

Each concept wears Horizon Blue paint, inspired by Toyota's 1960s models including the Stout, Crown and Corona. [1] It is a vintage color, and it is applied to every model in the collection. [2]

How each model fits

According to Toyota, the RAV4 Woodland Plug-In Hybrid and Sienna Woodland concepts show how its electrified and family-focused vehicles take on a more adventurous role. [1] They focus on maximizing cargo capacity and efficiency for family road trips and trailheads. [2]

The three-row Grand Highlander and two-row Crown Signia concepts adapt the off-pavement hardware to larger, more premium crossovers. [2] Toyota said the two bring two distinct models to the lineup. [1]

Toyota said the electric Woodland bZ Concept extends the Woodland theme into its battery electric future. [1] It tests trail-ready accessories, including all-terrain tires and roof racks, on Toyota's dedicated battery-electric platform. [2]

What Toyota already sells

Toyota already sells Woodland versions of the RAV4, Sienna and bZ, and most recently the Grand Highlander. [1] The bZ Woodland has 375 hp, which is 37 hp more than the standard bZ with AWD. [1]

It also has 8.3 inches of ground clearance [1] and can tow up to 3,500 lbs. [1] Other rugged upgrades include All-Terrain tires, black side molding, roof rails and black wheel arch cladding. [1]

What it means for you

If you already look at the RAV4, Sienna, bZ or Grand Highlander, you can see Woodland versions of those models for sale today. [1] The new concepts are on display at the 2026 SEMA Show from November 3. [1]

Toyota did not reveal powertrain specs for the concepts. [1] It said they show capability can take many forms, including PHEV, hybrid and battery electric. [1]
